Welcome to the webpage for the summer school "Scaling limits in Kinetic theory", which will be held at ENS de Lyon from September 30th to October 4th, 2019.

The school will focus on rigorous aspects of the large-scale derivation of effective kinetic equations for interacting particle systems from their microscopic dynamics. It also aims to promote exchanges between mathematicians and physicists working in related areas. The school includes:

The conference is being organized by Mitia Duerinckx, Laure Saint-Raymond, and Sergio Simonella, with financial support from the CNRS-Momentum program. We are able to provide travel support and accommodation for a number of junior participants.
